“Confucius said ‘choose a job you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your life!’ Helping people squeeze every last dime out of their financial plan isn’t always easy, but it sure is fun! I’m pretty lucky in that respect, because it’s not really work…”
~ Greg Phelps, CFP®, AIF®, CLU®, AAMS®

Greg’s spent the last two decades helping families work towards – and live through – retirement.

Greg has worked with two of the largest wealth management firms, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, and as a Regional Manager of Wealth Management at RSM McGladrey, one of the nations largest accounting firms. With his extensive experience came a growing disdain for the brokerage industry.
Greg ventured out on his own by opening Redrock Wealth Management in 2005. Redrock was founded on the firm belief that his client’s trust is his most valuable asset, and more importantly that trust must be earned.

Over the last two decades, he’s earned many prestigious designations and credentials in the financial services industry:

Greg is a National Association of Personal Financial Advisors Registered Financial Advisor, a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), a Paladin Registry 5 Star Financial Advisor and is also FADD Certified (Fiduciary Advisors Due Diligence) by Investor Watchdog.

Husband, father, and outdoor enthusiast

Husband, father, and coach make up the majority of Greg’s personal life outside of work. Greg and his wife Katrina (who also works as administrative support with Redrock) just celebrated their 13th year of marriage in November of 2015. They met in 2000 in Southern California, and ended up settling in Las Vegas in 2002. In 2003 Katrina and Greg were blessed with the birth of their only children, Austin and Hunter. Austin and Hunter are identical twin boys, avid club baseball players and rock star golfers.
Greg absolutely loves sports and the outdoors including fishing, snowboarding, golf, running, road and mountain biking. Greg and Katrina just completed the Long Beach Marathon in late 2015, and have several more marathon’s scheduled over the next 18 months.
But if you really want to find Greg outside of the office, chances are it will be quite the task. Greg is an avid mountain biker and competes in regional races from time to time, but when given the chance he’ll take a round of golf with the family over everything else.
