“Confucius said ‘choose a job you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your life!’ Helping people squeeze every last dime out of their financial plan isn’t always easy, but it sure is fun! I’m pretty lucky in that respect, because it’s not really work…”

“The way they treated clients just wasn’t right! Sell this! Sell that! They didn’t care about solving problems, they cared about their own stock price and performance. It just wasn’t right!”

Greg ventured out on his own by opening Redrock Wealth Management in 2005. Redrock was founded on the firm belief that his client’s trust is his most valuable asset, and more importantly that trust must be earned.

Over the last two decades, he’s earned many prestigious designations and credentials in the financial services industry:

  • CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ CFP ®
  • CHARTERED LIFE UNDERWRITER ® CLU ®
  • ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY ® AIF ®
  • ACCREDITED ASSET MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST ® AAMS ®

Greg’s true passion is helping people retire with the “money confidence” they need to make their retirement both memorable . . . and purposeful.

But there’s more to Greg than worklife . . .

Husband, father, and outdoor enthusiast

Hi I’m Greg!

Husband, father, and sports fan make up the bulk of my personal life outside of work. I met my amazing wife Katrina (who also works as administrative support with Redrock) in 2000 in Southern California. We just celebrated our 17th year of marriage.

We settled in Las Vegas in 2002, and in 2003 we were blessed with the birth of our only children, Austin and Hunter.

Austin and Hunter are identical twin boys. Fortunately, I picked a career that allows me scheduling flexibility, so I’ve truly loved being active in their sports activities from coaching their baseball programs for years, caddying for them in golf tournaments, and now cheering for them on the sideline of their hockey games.

I really enjoy outdoor activities. Fishing, snowboarding, golf, running, road and mountain biking . . . you name it! My wife and I have run multiple half-marathons and enjoy traveling around the country . . . mostly for country music.

In fact, our love of country music put us both smack dab in the middle of the country’s largest mass shooting on 1 October 2017. If you’d like to read my story, you can find it on my personal retirement blog RetireWire here.

That night changed my life forever.

I don’t mention that for pity or shock value, I mention it because while the Route 91 mass shooting will never “define” me, it absolutely “refined” me.

Personally, my job as a father and husband wasn’t complete. Professionally, my focus shifted with laser precision to help you prepare for retirement, and teach you how to retire without the anxiety most people feel.

But if you really want to find me outside of the office, chances are it will be quite the task. I’m an avid mountain biker and compete in regional races from time to time, but when given the chance I’ll take a round of golf with the family over everything else!
